St. Patrick's Day Sweets

St. Patrick's Day Sweets

It's the luck of the sweet tooth... I mean, Irish. Dab a little green here, throw some Lucky Charms marshmallows there, and bam, you've got a dessert for the {best} holiday!

Here are a few St. Patty's Day themed treats for you to try out in honor of the fallen leprechauns and lost pots of gold.

1. Lucky Charm Cake Pops

1. Grab your favorite cake box mix (I used chocolate) and prepare as the box instructs and bake.

2. Crumble cake and mix in some icing

3. Melt colored chocolates and dip cake pops in them

4. Sprinkle marshmallows and gold sprinkles on top - enjoy!

2. Irish Flag Cake Pops

1. Grab your favorite cake box mix (I used vanilla) and prepare as the box instructs and bake.

2. Crumble cake and mix in some icing

3. Melt colored chocolates and dip cake pops in them

4. Sprinkle green, white and then gold sprinkles on top - enjoy!

3. Green Velvet Layer Cake

For the green velvet recipe, I used one from Garnish & Glaze

Then simple layer a glass or mason jar with cake + icing + cake + sprinkles + icing + cake and on until you feel content!

4. Pistachio Layer Cake

To make the cake, follow Skinny Mom's recipe here and double the ingredients to get the four layers. If you only want two layers, just follow her recipe as is.

Instead of making icing, I just bought some from the store to put between the layers.

Top with extra cake that you cut off from around the sides of the cake and chopped pistachios.

5. Bagel Art

Cream Cheese = 1 tbsp Greek Yogurt + 1 tbsp Whipped Cream Cheese + 1/2 tbsp Powdered Sugar + Food Coloring + Sprinkles / Lucky Charms
