The Holidays for Young Adults

The Holidays for Young Adults

Pumpkin Spice Everything is no more, and now, it's on to Christmas trees, hot cocoa and getting fat. But, the holidays bring on a whole other source of stress for us, young adults. Do we have money? No. Do we have time? No. Do we spend all our time shopping like we're a stay-at-home spouse of a millionaire? Yes.

1. Why do we know so many people?
More friends means more gifts. Why do we strive to be popular all year only to realize what that will cost us in December.

2. Why haven't we found the rare money tree?
And where does our money go? I'm pretty sure a goblin has gotten into my bank account.

3. How can pants stretch so much?
I mean really, how far can these yoga pants go? It's a modern-day miracle. Why is there so much food? And it's all SO good? So many sweets. So many sides. So many drinks.

4. How are there even numbers everywhere?
And by that I mean couples... How does everyone happen to have a date and a significant other all of a sudden? Where have they been hiding all year?

5. What do our homes normally look like?
It's like Christmas threw up over my home and infested every bit of empty space. After the holidays, I'll be living in a void. Just an empty space with no spirit.

6. Why didn't I start my diet 6-months ago?
With all of these holidays parties, we have to dress up again and dresses are only getting tighter and tighter... and tighter. I say this as I eat a tub of ice cream.
